leva. alska. flyga.: Occasionally.

flyga:

There are moments in life where I have to fight the overpowering urge to drop everything & disappear to a remote location…just dirt roads, beach & forrest.

No busy cities crammed full of numb people going about their 9-5 lives in robot like rhythms.

No bombarding environments filled with sensory…

More than those close would care for me to admit, I’ve checked the value of everything I own versus a one way ticket to somewhere on the other side of found and fifteen minutes from lost. It’s said, time and again, that we are alive at the greatest time in human history. Yet sometimes, I wonder if all the apples that surround me aren’t too far off from the fruit that threw everything out of whack in the first place. If you read the manuals of most electronics, it tells you that periodically you should let the battery drain completely and then recharge it to make it last longer. And you shouldn’t leave something constantly plugged in as they can overcharge and in the end be overspent. Maybe our gadgets and our bodies are a lot closer than we think.

But then again, how else would you be reading this?
